Thank you to everyone who has kept up with this crazy wait! No travel call yet. :-(

We did find out that Rai's visa physical was sometime during the week of March 23-27th, so we are currently waiting to see if the results of the physical will require a waiver. If not, we will hopefully get our call any day now. If so, we will get that paperwork in immediately and hope to get our call the next week.

But believe me, as soon as we know, it will be posted EVERYWHERE! (My poor students would like to know what we're supposed to be doing in these last weeks of the semester, and our families and friends are just as anxious as we are.) Everything is a bit up in the air until we hear one way or another.

In the meantime, I can hardly wait for Friday. Last week, I picked out a charm bracelet for Rai's foster mother after several Holt mom had recommended birthstone necklaces. I really wanted a gift that would say more than "Here is a Texas mug!" and the giving something with Rai's birthstone would be very special. Luckily, Things Remembered has a charm bracelet with a birthstone engravable charm! What a wonderful idea! We can send her a charm each year! I immediately picked out a second charm (mini picture frame for Rai's 1st birthday picture) to remember his first birthday (or Tol) back in November. It should be done by Friday, so I will post pictures soon!
